Why Gardeners Need a Unit Converter

Gardening spans two worlds: seed packets from US suppliers use Fahrenheit and imperial measurements, while European and UK guides use Celsius and metric. A single growing season can involve both.

Soil bags are labelled in litres, but raised bed calculators often work in cubic feet. Fertiliser rates appear in grams per square metre in scientific references and ounces per square yard on the packet.
