By creating an account or using EdenVatika, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Account Creation: To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

Account Responsibility: You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

One Account Per User: You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

Permitted Use: EdenVatika is intended for personal, non-commercial use for gardening and plant management purposes.

Prohibited Activities: You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Spam, harass, or abuse other users
• Use automated systems (bots) to access the service

Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you upload, including photos, notes, and planting information.

License to EdenVatika: By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display your content for the purpose of providing and improving our service.

Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you post. You must have the right to upload any content you share.

Prohibited Content: You may not upload content that is illegal, offensive, harmful, or infringes on intellectual property rights.

Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Data Collection: We collect information you provide (email, name, planting data) and usage data to improve our service.

Data Usage: We use your data to provide gardening recommendations, send notifications, and improve the app.

Our Property: All content, features, functionality, design, code, and plant database information are owned by EdenVatika and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Trademarks: The EdenVatika name, logo, and related marks are trademarks and may not be used without our permission.

Limited Licence: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for personal purposes.

Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of our service.

Plant Identification: EdenVatika may provide plant identification features and suggestions. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that any plant identification is 100% correct. You should never consume, touch, or use any plant based solely on identification provided by EdenVatika without independent verification from a qualified expert.

Plant Disease & Pest Advice: Our care guides and treatment recommendations are intended as general informational guidance only. EdenVatika is not responsible for any plant damage, crop loss, or harm resulting from following advice provided through the app.

Gardening Recommendations: Planting calendars, frost dates, and other recommendations are based on general data and may not accurately reflect your specific conditions. Always cross-reference with local gardening resources.

No Professional Advice: Information provided by EdenVatika does not constitute professional agricultural, botanical, horticultural, or medical advice. Specifically:

• Do not rely on plant identification for determining edibility or toxicity
• Do not use our disease advice as a substitute for professional agricultural consultation
• Do not apply pesticide or chemical treatments without reading product labels and consulting local regulations

User Responsibility: By using our service, you acknowledge that gardening involves inherent risks and that you do so at your own risk. See our full Safety & Advice Policy.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that planting recommendations will result in successful harvests, or that information in our plant database is 100% accurate or complete.

Gardening Advice: Information provided is for general guidance only. Results may vary based on climate, soil, care, and other factors.

Third-Party Content: We are not responsible for any third-party content, links, or services accessed through our platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EdenVatika shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service, failed crops, incorrect plant identification, or any other matter relating to the service.

Damage Cap: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

Your Rights: You may terminate your account at any time through account settings or by contacting us.

Our Rights: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, or abuse the service.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email notification and in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India (Bihar). Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, mediation, or arbitration as a last resort.
